Help Make Life Better for Seniors: Support Our 2008 Annual Fund
Rising costs for prescriptions, health care, and basic living expenses are making life difficult for many Americans over 50.
In response, the AARP Foundation is calling on AARP members to support our 2008 Annual Fund Drive.
Contributions to the 2008 Annual Fund Drive will make a wide range of AARP Foundation services available to friends, neighbors, and family members who need an extra boost of assistance at this time. Donors to the Annual Fund Drive will help:
- Assist people struggling with the high costs of prescription drugs and other basic necessities — and help them find the benefit programs they are already entitled to.
- Provide the training and skills necessary to help individuals over 55 secure good jobs if they need them.
- Ensure taxpayers claim every deduction and credit on their taxes through the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax preparation service.
- Provide help with money management, fighting fraud and age discrimination, and much more.
These are just some of the key services that supporters of the 2008 Annual Fund Drive will help make possible. All tax-deductible donations will help seniors everywhere improve the quality of their lives.
We must raise over $15 million to fund these important programs. And the AARP Foundation is relying on the voluntary contributions of AARP members to help reach more people in 2008.
Please support the 2008 Annual Fund with a tax-deductible gift of $25, $35, or even $50 or more to help improve life for seniors across America. Thank you.
